From the Chicago area take I-90 west to Elgin, cross the Fox river, then take second exit (route 31 south) onto North State Street (route 31). Turn left on West River Road (first stop light). Follow the road about 1 mile and go under I-90 (180 degree turn). Turn onto first road (on the right). See sign "Voyageurs Landing Forest Preserve." Meet us by the bulletin board (next to the first boat launch).
